  • 1.  How is time divided in Maximo?

    My boss has asked me to determine how time is divided in increments in Maximo.  For instance, how many minutes does .3 hours and .5 hours add up to?  And is there a chart somewhere that shows the hour segments?

    Hi Laurie,

    Time is multiplied by 60. .3 hours is 18 minutes, .5 is 30 minutes. .8 hours would be 48 minutes. You can add time in Maximo in decimal or in minutes. To add time in minutes, just input the value with a colon, :18, :30, :48.

    Is there a chart or something that shows this?  My boss would prefer concrete evidence because he is using this for contractual purposes.
