In my Maximo instance, we utilize the Planned Services in Work Order Tracking to assign a service item, a vendor and the service $ amount in the quantity field. Currently, the service amount defaults to $1 which requires the user to update this field to the actual service amount before approving the WO. 

I'd like to set a default of $500 for a specific service item. For example, below you see that this service item has vendor 71410629 for site 5023. When I create a WO for 5023, and I assign this service item in Planned Services, vendor 71410629 auto-populates. I tried changing the last price on this line to $500 to see if the quantity would also populate for this Service Item, but it still displays a quantity of $1. Is the only way to auto-populate the quantity of a service item via an auto script or is there an easier way?
