Hello Everyone

I am looking for some help on resolving the LDAP authentication Maximo login error " You cannot login at this time".

I have followed all steps to enable Microsoft AD Authentication both in the Websphere and Maximo but I am still not able to login to Maximo.

I do see the Manager Users and Groups in Websphere so that means Websphere is able to connect to AD server successfully.

Moreover when I use the wrong password for my login it does say Username Password combination not valid.

I would truly appreciate if you could help with this problem.

It is very difficult to pin point what is the cause with just an error statement. I will suggest you to revisit all configuration done on WebSphere as well as Maximo side as well.

As you said WebSphere is able to fetch user data from LDAP, can you still check that on Maximo application under user/security mapping you have chosen "All Authenticated In Realm". Also on Maximo side-

1. appServerSecurity property in DB is set to 1.
2. appServerSecurity property is set to true or 1 as required in all 4 web.xml files - maximouiweb, meaweb, maxrestweb, mboweb.
3. BASIC authentication is enabled in maximouiweb property.
4. You have redeployed EARs after clearing the websphere cache.
