    Getting this error message when selection a location when creating a new asset. Any idea?

    If you already saved the asset, then the location will become read only and you will need to use the Move/Modify action to fix it. The location field is only read-write during asset creation before the first save.

    This restriction on the location field's read-write status makes sense from a data integrity perspective. It ensures that once an asset is saved, its location remains consistent, preventing accidental or unauthorized changes.

    Hi Joshiah, this little information maybe helpful later on.  Asset can be relocated to different "SITE", we do not have to duplicate an asset that is being relocated to a different Location, and especially "Site".
