  • 1.  Making a field Sortable from different table (Not working after checking the box in App Designer)

    Hello MORE Community,

    I have two fields here on the PM list view [asset.location] and [jpnum].

    I have checked the box to make it sortable but it is not working.  

    JPNUM does, but ASSET.LOCATION does not.

    Is this because it is not part of the PM table or is there a different reason?

    Is there a way to make it begin sorting?

    Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

    Hi @Danny Richardson!

    Are you in the PM application? I ask you because PM, has two attibutes... ASSETNUM and LOCATION and then, I don't know what ASSET.LOCATION is. 

    Did you create a relationship from PM to ASSET and call it ASSET? So, ASSET.LOCATION would it be the LOCATION field of the ASSET table?

    Hi Danny,

    Related fields are not able to be sorted.  They can only be filtered.
