    As more people start eying MAS 8 I think it is helpful to identify gaps between the current product and MAS 8. This is one that some of Projetech's clients will run into. IBM has accepted the idea and is planning to release it in a future release, with an aim to deliver in the next 12-18 months. 

    The Idea: Configure Multiple SAML IDPs in MAS

    Allowing multiple SAML IDPs in MAS customers would be able to authenticate against multiple providers. A second IDP would allow customers more flexibility in their authentication configuration. This is possibile when configuring SAML in WebSphere Network Deployment today and is not possibile via the dialogs in MAS. This configuration would allow a customer to configure an IDP for the main users of MAS plus an additional IDP for users that are managed by another IDP like a second division of the same company or an outside vendor.
