Can someone please explain the process of uploading attachments (i.e. pdfs. word docs. etc.) to the Maximo attachment library? I am able to upload an attachment through Maximo, then assign that attachment to assets through mxloader, but I am looking for the process of uploading straight from my local drive to Maximo via mxloader. Is that possible? Currently running Maximo version 7.6.09. I have a ton of documents i'd like to transfer into the Maximo library, but want to avoid uploading each file individually.

Yes it is possible to upload the Attachment in Maximo in Doclinks object. you can follow this blog https://bportaluri.com/2017/06/mxloader-attachments-doclinks.html

just wanted to share if the size of attachment is more than 10 MB you need to change the system property mxe.int.doclink.maxfilesize.
