Hello everyone,

In a Work Order, under the Actuals -> Materials tab, an item was mistakenly returned to the wrong storeroom. Since the Work Order is in COMP status, as an administrator, I am unable to edit the Storeroom field or delete the line in the Actuals tab. 

I tried correcting the inventory by creating an Inventory Usage of type TRANSFER from the current Storeroom to the correct one, and marked it Complete - so the item is now in the correct storeroom.

I was wondering whether there is any supported or admin-level method from within Maximo (not via direct database edits) to update or reflect this correction in the Work Order Actuals?

I am aware that Maximo keeps Actuals read-only after COMP for audit purposes, but is there a system action or workaround through the UI to reflect the storeroom correction?

Issue the part back to the completed work order and then return it to the correct storeroom in another transaction. 

You can use the inventory application and just make sure to add in the other data like work order number and issued to. Remarks would be useful as well if records are audited.
