We had our first load of inventory done with incorrect data. So, we set all those to PENDOBS and loaded inventory again. Now we want to OBSOLETE all those PENDOBS. However, Maximo won't allow the change because they were loaded with quantities.

Do we have to manually set all the quantities to 0 before we can OBSOLETE them? Or is there any other way to get rid of them?

Values have to be zero on the Invbalances table.  But you can easily use MxLoader to zero out the quantities.  I always 1) Sync-change to zero out, then 2) Delete the invbalances record so they don't pop up in any SSMS queries.
