Thanks Prashant.
I have set "Install Manage w/Existing Database? " to Y now which has brought down the resource requirements down. This means I can have my database instance on any other server and connect my MAS to that DB instance remotely as we generally do in any Prod instance keeping App and DB servers isolated. Is this correct?
One question though - comment in the spreadsheet for this parameter also mentions about the CP4D requirements. By setting this to Yes - CP4D requirements won't be included in the resource requirements. I read about CP4D and looks like it's another DB to be used for data analysis which I don't think is really required for Manage only environment. Is this correct?
Regarding "Install Monitor w/Existing Database" - it's not making a difference in the calculations because I have also selected N for Monitor in the applications section. But, I got your point. thanks.
Updated requirements:
But, I doubt if it's correct. I am recalling a presentation from IBM on MAS 8.10 where they had mentioned that a SNO (Single Node OpenShift) will require minimum 16 vCPU and 64Gb RAM in which 8 vCPU and 32Gb RAM was required for the RHOC only. I can't recall the DB scenario whether it's included in the calculations or not.

Hi Sourabh
In the excel I can see you have said N to install with existing Manage DB - you can set it to Y and keep DB outside of OCP to cut down resources.
Also you have selected Install with existing Monitor Db which you should set to N if you don't need monitor and other components. DB2 warehouse will be required for Monitor and it need to many resources.

Hi all,
I used the IBM spreadsheet provided for on premise infra calculator to check the minimum requirement to build a demo environment for 10 users. Attaching the spreadsheet for the values entered.
Final calculations are coming as below:
In the detailed report (below) - Additional Application Sizing > Manage/Health DB2 - Dev - memory requirement is displayed as 100Gb. Isn't it too high? What's the minimum I can have for a demo DB2 Maximo DB?
