We are right around the corner from 9.2 being released. There are many things that make 9.2 exciting. Today, I want to talk about the addition of Rotation Shifts. Starting in Maximo Manage 9.2 as a planner or supervisor, you can define multiple shifts for a labor resource mapped to specific time periods, such as bi-weekly rotations. This means you can now configure time-based shift assignments for labor. You can assign the morning shift for the first two weeks, then assign the afternoon shift for the next two weeks for labor. This will allow you to better plan out labor resources for your company.
I have not had the opportunity to play with it yet, but it seems like it will be fairly easy to set up and get it working for your business needs. I am excited for more of the new features that will be part of 9.2, and this is just one I decided to highlight on this #TipTuesday
Thank you,
