    I woke up, and I realized today is Wednesday, and I had forgotten to sent out #TipTuesday. So, happy #TipWednesday!

    Did you know that in MAS there is a system property mxe.webslcient.customPageHeader? This system property allows you to enable the default page header in Manage to include the user and default siteID. If you are savvy enough, you can also extend the customHeaderPage.jsp to include things like the site description.

    This allows the user to see which site they are in at all times. If you make changes to the customHeaderPage.jsp, it could show other information that might be helpful to the user.

    System Property:
    mxe.webclient.customPageHeader

    Values:
    True = Display Header
    False = Hide Header

    Default Result:

    Feeling Savy? File to Modify:
    .applications\maximo\maximouiweb\webmodule\webclient\customHeader\customHeaderPage.jsp

    IBM Article:

    I hope you find this helpful! Happy #TipTuesday(Wednesday)

    For lower environments, this is a great place to display the environment name and the last refresh date from Prod. In these lower environments, you might also include a reminder that data entered in this system will be lost, so users don't think they're in Prod when they are accidentally in a training or testing environment.
