If Maximo feels slow, it is not always a system problem. Most of the time, slowness comes from how much data Maximo is trying to load.
Common causes include:

Searching without filters
-
Looking at years of old work orders
-
Saved searches that return hundreds or thousands of records

Large task lists or long work order history
A few simple things you can do right away:

Always filter by Site and Status before searching

Add a Date filter when possible
-
Avoid clicking Search with no criteria
-
Save your filtered searches so you do not have to rebuild them
If Maximo is still slow after using good filters, the issue is usually related to data size or system tuning. Maximo Providers can help customers figure out whether slowness is caused by user searches, large data volumes, or system settings.
