    Hello all,

I'm having some trouble with the out of the box object structure for Contracts. When I look at the backend CONTRACT table in the database it has data but the object structure doesn't seem to be giving me anything. I did manage to load contracts in using PURCHVIEW but I am still confused why this structure does not work?

Just a couple questions. What version of MXLoader are you using; did you try the MXLoader Wizard?

    Maximo version?

    Hi Christopher.

I made sure I had the latest 8.3.5 version and I did try using the MXLoader wizard. When I only added PKs, versus R values versus adding all columns for MXAPICONTRACT via the wizard it still returns no records.

    I am using version 7.6.1.2

I only have demo data, and the wizard runs slow, but it seems to work.

I have MxLoader 8.3.5 as well, and Maximo 7.6.1.2 in SQL Server.

Hopefully, someone else can shed some light.

    Hi Chris,

I actually worked with IBM support to figure this out.

My MIF was not enabled for this particular object structure. I also had to enable some security permissions on the object structure for both the application and security groups I was in.

I cant pinpoint the exact moment it started working but I believe it was a permissions thing! Thanks for assisting!

A good reminder to cover the basics - security. For easy reference, there is a page with a number of Maximo Reporting Reference Links including the Report Object Structure (ROS) guide including security:

    Jennifer,
When using the wizard from MXLoader make sure you select the fields that are Primary K (PK) and fields that are Required (R) in the list. From your screenshot  you provided it looks like you are missing these key fields, whereas in Christopher's screenshot he has the fields. I would start with that. If it still does not work then I suggest looking at the SystemOut.log or SystemErr.log for any additional clues.

    Hi Mike!

I believe it was a permissions thing. I also established a publish channel for this as well.
