MAS 9.1 takes Operational Dashboards beyond "pretty charts." This post helps you link KPI Value cards directly to Work Queues, so you don't just see a number, you act on it instantly.

    What "Value Cards" Do

    • Display KPI values: Show the current status of a KPI (e.g., Overdue PM Work Orders, Emergency Work Orders, Asset Health).
    • Highlight trends: Indicate whether the KPI is over or under target, and how it has changed since the last refresh.
    • Act as entry points: In MAS 9.1, you can now link a KPI Value card directly to a Work Queue, so clicking the card takes you straight to the records behind the number.
    • Support multiple layouts: Cards can be configured as single or multiple queues, or combined with other card types (Favorites, Quick Actions, Tables, etc.)

Types of Cards You Can Add

The Operational Dashboard supports several card types:

    • KPI Value card → shows the value of one KPI.
    • KPI Trend/Comparison cards → compare KPIs over time or against each other.
    • Work Queue card → display active work queues in tabular format.
    • Favorites card → quick links to applications.
    • Quick Actions card → shortcuts to common tasks (like creating a work order).
    • Table card → show rows of data from a source.
    • External content card → embed external URLs.

Why Value Cards Matter in MAS 9.1

    • They turn dashboards into action tools - not just monitoring screens.
    • Linking KPI Value cards to Work Queues is a new MAS 9.1 enhancement, making it a true quick win: one click from KPI → records → action.

    Here's a quick win:

    • Add a KPI Value card (like Overdue PMs or Emergency Work Orders) to your dashboard.
    • Link it to the corresponding Work Queue.
    • Now, when the KPI shows you're off target, one click opens the exact list of records behind it.

No more flipping between dashboards and queries. MAS 9.1 makes your KPIs actionable in real time - turning visibility into productivity.

MAS 9.1 introduces several dashboard enhancements.
