What are easy methods to calculate app points for maximo 7.6. 

IBM is providing a tool to help calculate AppPoints. You have to implement it to your maximo 7.6 ear file. You should contact IBM or the company that sells you your app points. They can certainly answer your questions. Once installed, the application will tell you, each day, your daily peak in app point consumption.

Kaiser, I have an SQL query written for both SQL Server and Oracle that calculates app points requirements based on peak concurrent users.

IBM or your IBM Business Partner have a script they call the Magic Script. You should speak to your IBM Business Partner you buy your licenses from to get the script and guidance on its use.  

Yes, magic script can be used to estimate App Points, but I was advised to run that script on test env. because it is quite heavy. Script can be used for estimation if you plan to migrate to trade-up current EAM licenses to MAS appoints. For regular appoints reporting ask IBM support to provide utility mention above. Have in mind that in order to install you will need downtime.
