what is the use of "transaction details" section present on inventory usage lines

  • 1.  what is the use of "transaction details" section present on inventory usage lines

    On inventory usage application under usage lines detailed view there is common section called "Transaction Details" for all use types.

    I think it will update the physical count in inventory however would like to know if there is more to it and is it mandatory ?

    Is it just an another extra place where this is option to update phycount while we are at inventory transactions. ? 

    Can you please provide if there is any pdf guide available on inventory usage.

    Can you provide a screen shot of what you are referencing?  Are you looking at the INVENTORY - VIEW INVENTORY TRANSACTIONS which is selected from the drop-down menu?
