When uploading attachments, Ownerid is being set to assetid instead of assetuid

  • 1.  When uploading attachments, Ownerid is being set to assetid instead of assetuid

    Ownerid is being set to assetid instead of assetuid, out of box maximo sets it to assetuid instead of assetid.

    How can we find why Maximo is setting the doclinks ownerid to Assetid instead of the Assetuid?
     
    This is causing issues when using a third party app, because the app is based off of OOB Maximo set to assetuid, and so it is showing incorrect attachments.

    After troubleshooting it has been determined that when uploading an attachment, Maximo is setting the Doclinks ownerid to assetid.

    Update:  I was told by IBM that this was fixed in a previous iFix.  Unsure why it is still doing this, but at least that much information might be helpful to someone encountering the issue that an iFix was needed.
