That sounds like a date logic issue during work order generation rather than user input. I would double check whether the PM, Job Plan, or any automation is setting constraint dates differently than the target dates. If the finish no earlier than date is being derived separately, it could explain why it ends up earlier than the target finish.

Subject: Work order schedule dates fetching wrongly when a pm work order is generated from BDI
We have a meter based PM and it has a job plan. The job plan has start constraint offset as 168 and finish constraint offset as 144.
after reaching the meter limit for an asset in the PM, the BDI has generated the work order as per schedule.
When generated the work order the constraint dates in the work order has generated wrongly.
The finish no earlier than date is earlier than target finish date.

Can someone explain how these dates will be calculated when generating the work order from BDI
