Hi All,
I am on Maximo 7.6.1.3 and adding attachments on workorders.  On some file types - example .docb and .html   I get following error ...

BMXAA6152E - This file type cannot be printed. To attach this file type, clear the Print attached document with report if printable type? check box.

I am able to add these file types but can not set print flag.   I see system property for allowed extensions but I don't see where  allowed printable types are maintained within maximo.   Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried setting the mxe.report.AttachDoc.validateURL to false? This has fixed a lot of attachment issues for us.

Thanks Megan, that is a good point suggestion. However,  mxe.report.AttachDoc.validateURL was already set to false.

Hi Pat,

I don't know if this applies to your situation, but you might try the instructions in this URL:

Hey thanks Stevie for link.   I ended up creating auto script on doclinks that would control what attachments were flagged printable . This way we bypassed the error message that was causing users to re-attach all documents they tried to add even if one was a non printable.
