Well, hello everyone!

I wanted to know if someone is using IBM MAXIMO to calculate costs after preventive maintenance job has done? In those jobs included positions are (parameters are variable):
  1.  CAR:
    • fuel price per kilometer;
    • depreciation of the car.
  2. Tools:
    • Used Oil (in liter);
    • Used Color (in liter);
    • Used Lubricant (in mililiter).

Is it possible to register in IBM MAXIMO aproximate tool depreciation? I'm out of ideas. I run through tools, storerooms, item masters etc.

All the best,
Matis

I haven't spent any time with our Asset Depreciation functionality but have you looked at that? Most customers mark tools as rotating so they can track each of the tools as their own asset (and cars definitely should be an Asset given the expense and maintenance required). With assets, you can have meters tied to them (such as Used Oil) and use the meter readings to help drive the depreciation.

There are a few blog posts about it (https://blog.cohesivesolutions.com/tracking-asset-depreciation & https://www.projetech.com/maximo-blog/new-functionality-in-maximo-7-6-0-3-asset-depreciation-schedules) and we have documentation in our IBM docs as well.
