 Drag and Drop of Text from Maximo to Office applications

Are there other users familiar with the ability to click and drag text from a Maximo field into an Excel cell for example?   I wasn't aware this was a thing.  Apparently since our upgrade from 7.6.1.3 to MAS 9.0, users are no longer able to do this.   Now they must select, copy, paste.   Previously just select and drag.

It's not been a priority because the primary driver is working 'outside' of Maximo but still wanted to ask if others have experienced/noticed the change or know if it is simply a property file that possibly changed?

I never knew anyone to do that (seems more tedious to me than copy & paste keyboard shortcuts) but I confirmed it worked in 7.6.1.3 and doesn't work in MAS. This change is related to how content is displayed in MAS. The masthead (top navigation bar) is universal for all the applications and then renders the application (Manage in this case) content inside an iframe. Anything in the main header bar you can still drag and drop outside but because the Manage content is inside an iframe you can't. I don't know how but maybe there is a way to modify the iframe in a way that it allows content to be pulled out of the iframe. Definitely not a system property to control this today though.

So just a quick update on this... they made changes in 9.2 as part of idea https://ideas.ibm.com/ideas/MASM-I-1270 I believe these changes will fix it. I couldn't test office specifically with our 9.2 lab environments but was able to validate other desktop apps worked
