Has anyone tried to add this feature into another application, for example, Purchase Orders?

PO revision is the "Edit history" for POs. This is rule-driven due to POs are legal and binding contracts with the supplier.  What are you trying to edit on the PO?

Err....no.  Why would I need to edit a closed PO?  The transactions have already been claimed. This is the same for the work order.
