The short answer is yes, if grafana can send a structured email to Maximo and you've setup the email listener/integration with auto scripting, that's a quick way to go. Another option is via a REST API call to Maximo if grafana can send it. It also depends on how much integration you need back to grafana from Maximo for status updates.
