It's worth mentioning that most customer environments are running WebSphere ND which isn't possible with docker containers (it uses WebSphere liberty). If you're looking for something that more closely matches your Maximo environment, you likely need to setup a VM on your local machine instead. You could distribute across multiple VMs (with an admin workstation, a database server, and an app server) or put them all on a single VM.
If you want practice installing Maximo 7.6 or working with the ConfigTool, you want an admin workstation. Though it's worth mentioning that everything on 7.6 is out of mainstream support now from IBM and the Maximo Application Suite is entirely different.
