Hello Alan, I believe Maximo record (work order, assets, job plans, PM) to which the location attached would still remains the same.
You will see the difference in Open Drill down option as the location got associated to new parent.
Also the system would restrict to delete the existing parent for the record having the child locations unless they are in network system.
