 Incomplete Result of Adhoc Report for Date Range

Hi,

I created an adhoc report which filters records based on the Reported Date range. In the Report Administration I've set the operator:

  • for From Reported Date as '>=' and
  • for To Reported Date as '<=

but when I provide both dates parameters identical, for example 01/10/2025 00:00:00 then report doesn't show any data. But if I select both reports different then the data of 'To Reported Date' is eliminated, like From 01/10/2025 00:00:00  To  04/10/2025 00:00:00 range, the data of 04/10/2025 is eliminated. 

What is the mistake being done here.

Hi Shahid,

I’m unsure if I’m misunderstanding your question.

In your first selection where you specify 01/10/2025 00:00:00 for both the from and to values, what exactly are you trying to search for?

If you want to see everything reported on 01/10/2025, I would choose a time later in the day as the end time, e.g., 01/10/2025 23:59:59, that way you get a selection that covers the entire day, since the last six digits refer to the time, i.e., hh:mm:ss.

Please let me know if this solves your problem, or if I have misunderstood your question

Thanks for your reply. You have answered my query and resolve it by defining the time range as well along with the date.

in this criteria, From 01/10/2025 00:00:00  To  04/10/2025 00:00:00 definitely the records were added in the system after 00:00:00 time and hence they were also eliminated.
