 Incorrect Materials submittal

When posting a PO# cost in the materials section of the actuals page in order to track costs, i accidently wrote the work order number for the dollar amount so maximo is reporting a 1.8 million dollar expense, which is way incorrect.  the work order has also been closed, so i need to figure out a way to correct this so it doesn't affect our financial data.

Have you tried Edit History Work Order.

when i click on "Edit History Work Order" nothing happens.  i know when posting labor, if someone accidentally posts too much labor, they post another line with negative hours to correct it.  i cannot get any of these tricks to work with materials though.

@Bill Poelma Once you use the edit history action in work order tracking, view the work order history. If you have the HISTEDIT entry, then you were able to add a 'RETURN' issue type material on  the Actual Materials sub-tab. Once saved, as noted, the record should return to read only, so you may need to try again.

I was able to RETURN the item.  Thank you for teaching me how to do this, i appreciate it!
