In Maximo, I need to configure a table column to display only the first 100 characters of a field whose full value is up to 1150 characters in the database. However, filters applied by the user should still be executed against the complete field value, not just the truncated display.
What version of Maximo are you using as it is slightly different between Maximo V7.x and the new MAS Manage v8.x and v9.x. For Maximo 7.x there are a few technotes and ways that this is controlled such as https://bportaluri.com/2021/10/adjust-field-size-width.html
