 Maximo Mobile Login Issue – Works on Web UI but Fails on Mobile (MAS 8.7.3)

I’m experiencing an issue with Maximo Mobile on Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 8.7.3. When trying to log in using a specific user ID on the Maximo Mobile app, I receive the following error:

BMXAA7901E - You cannot log in at this time. Contact the system administrator.

However, when using the same user ID on the Maximo Web UI, I can log in without any issues. This confirms that the credentials are correct, and the user is not locked or blocked.

I have checked:

  • User roles and permissions
  • Security groups in Maximo Web UI
  • Restarted Maximo
  • Re-installed the app
  • Logs files

Despite these checks, the issue persists.

Has anyone encountered this issue before on MAS 8.7.3? Any suggestions or resolutions would be greatly appreciated!

Ran into a strange bug with mobile (different version  on 7.6.1.x )I doubt it would be this but can you ensure that he username is all lowercase in the user field. We had a couple users when I was testing it that had mixed case usernames and this caused an issue when trying to log into the mobile apps. Was on SQL with LDAP. For some reason I think this bug was fixed but I don't have something to test this out right now.

Something similar with the DB version
