 Mobile App Version Mismatch after deploying the Maximo Mobile 8.8 IF008 on Maximo 7.6.1.2

Environment details - Maximo 7.6.1.2 with Maximo Mobile 8.8 IF008

Hi all,

After resetting the app, I am trying to connect to Maximo from mobile app and getting the following error message in the app.
"The server is correct, but the app is not available. Contact your system administrator."

I can see the following error in the logs:
SRVE8109W: Uncaught exception thrown by filter HttpXFrameOptionsFilter: java.io.FileNotFoundException: SRVE0190E: File not found: /api/graphite/mobile/packages/MOBILELOGIN

I checked the version using the URL method described here - How to check your Maximo Mobile version?

Version that is returned in the browser isn't matching with the version of IF008. I have verified all the files from IF008 were copied and I have followed the readMe instructions too. I found this article - Resolving the issue of Maximo Mobile patch not reflecting in deployed application but it didn't help.

Make sure you are including the /maximo in your URL. For example, if your Maximo environment is hosted at https://mydomain.com you should have the URL provided as https://mydomain.com/maximo

Different customers use different contexts so we require the customer to provide it. Your log attempt shows us trying to access it at just /api instead of /maximo/api which is most likely the issue with it not being retrieved.

As for the version mismatch, these applications should be getting loaded when you run updatedb. Can you confirm the new version was loaded into mafappdata for each of the applications?

We had this issue - turns out we were trying to install on older version. IBM support provided version 8.10 and it works flawlessly on the black mobile app. They only support 8.8 as of 4/4/23.
