Hello

I think the answer to this is no, but, does/can PM forecast generation be given a backstop after which it should no longer create forecast lines. It feels like this should be a thing, especially if you know the future decommissioning date of an asset but need to continue to service as normal up to that date, but I cannot fathom.

If you are using forecasting for budgeting purposes, you would not want to take forecast lines that are past this date into account.

Maybe I am missing something? Any thoughts?

Hi Matt,

The answer is no. To remove the PM from forecasting, you would need to deactivate it or deactivate the "Include this PM in the Forecast?" option.

As the asset is decommissioned, the best method is to deactivate the PM when you change the asset's status to DECOMMISSIONED.

Hi Craig

Thank you for your reply. I did think this would be the case 🙄
