Reinstating PM When Cancelling a Work Order

Good morning. I created duplicate work orders for a PM by mistake and need to cancel the latest one. I received a question asking if I wanted to reinstate the work order. What happens when the work order is reinstated?

Hi Laurie,

I think the question asked by Maximo when you cancel a PM work order is whether you would want reinstate the PM. Basically reset the PM to generate a new work order for the same schedule which created this work order. In your case , you can say no and the work order cancellation process will not update the PM.
