 When Viewing Work Details from Locations application, does it show all WO's from the location hierarchy?

Hi, first post!
 
I'm trying to determine what work orders are displayed when I select a specific Location in Locations and View Work Details.
 
1. Is it displaying all WO's for that location hierarchy? It appears to be way to many for a child location and many seem unrelated according to the WO description.
 
Also, this location is decommissioned and none of the WO's displayed are currently associated to this location (but they are associated to locations in the hierarchy the decom'd location was in).
 
2. Are WO's that used to have the decom'd location still tied to that location in the background? 
 
Because in our org, the association of all records for all applications must be changed/removed when decom-ing a location.

Hello Sarah,

  1. View Work Details shows open WOs (Not Cancel and Closed) for Location and its immidiate childs. For childs, Include Children checkbox should be checked. To see cancel and clsoe, Include History checkbox to be checked.

2. Before you decommission location or asset, all Open WOs associated should be closed (or cancelled if needed) but location or asset doesn't gets removed from these Work Orders as organization may need this information in future reference or due to some legal obligation.
