Maximo Open Forum

When at the Maximo World conference in the CMM course we discussed failure codes and drilling down deeper, i.e. not just and Oil Leak, but what part of the asset caused the Oil Leak.  We would like to implement this type of reporting in our work orders but all I see is the option to choose the Problem Code, but not the cause.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish this in Maximo?  Thank you in advance. 

Native Maximo functionality supports a Problem > Cause > Remedy hierarchy.  To insure relevancy, you can build a hierarchy for each type of Asset in the Failure Codes application (a compressor failure hierarchy will be different than a conveyor's, for example).
