I have a test max environment. if I come to "work order" > "work order tracking". I have the right window. like on the image.

The first thing I see, that they are 2 different applications... they are not for the same object. "Work Order Tracking" works on the WORKORDER object and your custom app "Service Request (OIL SG)" is cloned from "Service Request" (I imagine that) that works on the SR object (SR is a view of the TICKET table). They are 2 different apps... yes?

So, if you clone SR (which is working fine) and get SR (Oil SG) and use your CUSTOM app, it is not possible that it will not work well since it is a copy. Then, about your CUSTOM, what do you want to do with the status? or have you tried to make the application from zero? In any case, if you do it from zero, control field by field and compare SR(OIL) and SR to see the differences.... but it is much simpler to clone SR and then modify your custom app. Then, tell me what you want to do with the status of your CUSTOM and I will help you.

To change "Change Status", with app designer in SR or SR (Oil SG), you can see in the image below: (what do you want to do there?)

Previously, "change status" in oil SG worked, but after restoring the maximo test server, this dialog broke. I need to restore this dialogue
