Hello All!
We recently became aware of the Institute for Asset Management (IAM) and their recurring conference offering for North America IAM - Institute of Asset Management
The schedule has posted along with titles for breakout sessions, but no detailed description. We are finding it very difficult for us to ascertain whether there is value for those whose jobs are primarily in the Maximo space.
We are wondering if any on this forum have attended the IAM conferences and could provide insights:
- Are the conference offerings "super high-level" and "academic" or actually practical and useful?
- Do the sessions provide actual use cases that translate easily into technical practice (especially into the Maximo space)?
- Is the conference well-produced?
- How much sales pressure is there at the conference?
- Is the conference well-attended?...if you are aware, do utility customers attend the conference?
- Did you feel the overall conference provided value?
PROJECTECH is a sponsor of this conference--I would love to hear your insights also (feel free to contact me directly if you wish).
Thank you!
