Hello all, I am trying to create a Role for sending an email with a communication template.

The option to send to the REPORTEDBY.primarysms is available but the REPORTEDBY.primaryemail is not an option.

Is there something I need to do to make this an option or is it not possible?

You can try with :REPORTEDBY.PRIMARYEMAIL.emailaddress. 

In WORKORDER, REPORTEDBY is a relationship with person table. Then, PRIMARYEMAIL is another relationship with EMAIL table. At the end, emailaddress is the field that you need.

@Danny Richardson Remember, as noted, you want to check the relationship in database configuration to help you make the connection:

Remember to use the relationship name, which often matches the field in question, BUT NOT ALWAYS, so check the relationship and the relationship name first, and you should be safe.
