 How to remove or delete pending Maximo inspection result.

We are using Maximo 7.6.1. and its work center Inspection Form function.

We tried to search for related articles online for a firm answer to this question but not able to find any.
Are we able to delete or remove any "PENDING" inspection result in the "Conduct an Inspection" Tool/App interface?

It should be reasonable to delete/remove/cancel an inspection result which hasn't been started/conducted yet. But there is no way to do so.

Hopefully someone can confirm the feasibility or provide a solution to our difficulty here.

There's no way to delete an inspection result but in MAS or 7.6.1.X with Maximo Mobile installed we now have a way to cancel the inspection. If you are on a newer 7.6.1.2 IFIX or 7.6.1.3 you might be able to change the status via an escalation or automation script but there's not a way from the UI without Maximo Mobile installed.
