 Is it possible to upload a ".stp" file to Attachments?

Hello all,

We are trying to upload a 3D file that's extension is ".stp".  Maximo is telling me it is not an acceptable file type.

Any ideas on what we can do to get these 3D drawings attached to the Asset?

Yes, you can do attachment and download the file. To do this Go to System Properties > Search for mxe.doclink.doctypes.allowedFileExtensions

Now in global value field add  ,stp (it is comma stp) in last of existing value and Save.

Select the checkbox in front of property and go Live Refresh.

@Prashant Sharma Thank you.  I was able to add the extension in the "Global Value" field.  After selecting the check box and then clicking on Live Refresh it is not working.  It comes up blank.  Any suggestions?  Thank you
