I am looking for a way to track special equipment expenses on work orders, for example, a portable pump.  We are looking to be able to charge the expenses to other communities when specific equipment is used at their stations.  For example, if we need to bring a portable pump to their site for a pump around, we want to be able to set an hourly rate for that pump and include it in the Actuals page on the work order.  i found the tools bar on the actuals, but it looks like you need to insert the rate everytime you enter the tool.  I am looking for a way to be able to preset the rate for a piece of equipment, then have staff enter the equipment and quantity.

You can change the tool usage rate in the "Tools" application (Inventory Module)  and in the "Tool / Organization Details" option in the "More Actions" menu.

It will show you a window where you can register the "Tool Rate".
