I wanted to know if there is a way to create an inspection form using Adobe LiveCycle or any other Adobe product to simplify the forms.

Assuming that you are asking if forms created in Abode form creation products can be integrated into Maximo, I would say it needs more analysis and understanding of the above product and it's capabilities and compatibility to integrate.

Having said that, I haven't come across solution where forms created in Adobe or any other digital form creation product to integrate into Maximo. You can create APIs to create Maximo inspection forms ( might need to build some smarts) but I don't there is an oob or compatible integration solution for it.

If you have an use case which cannot be fulfilled with Maximo inspection forms then reach out to IBM and I am sure they will have some answer to it. You can post the same question here for some expert opinions.

One solution that you can explore is to create forms and run inspections in adobe product and integrate minimal information in a inspection form into Maximo. Some solutioning would be required for this.
