A tab with a view isn't too hard to create, but I thought it would be beneficial for all users if this was standard in Maximo.
Description:
Add a "Where Used" tab to the Failure Codes application that shows all Assets and Locations where a selected Failure Code is assigned. This would work the same way the Where Used tab does in Inventory.
Use Case:
When cleaning up or standardizing Failure Codes, it's difficult to know which Assets or Locations currently reference a given code. Right now, users either have to run SQL or manually search multiple applications.
Benefit:
A simple "Where Used" view would make it easy to see exactly where a Failure Code is in use, reduce cleanup effort, and prevent accidental impact when trying to clean up the list of Failure Codes in the system.
